Labret Stud Designs: Compare Shape, Size and Order Details

A practical comparison of four Pierlume listings, with decorative-top measurements from the product galleries and clear checks for your studio order.

Start with the space the design occupies

A three-stone fan, an elongated cross and a broad crown can all appear in a flat-back labret catalogue, yet they create very different outlines. For a studio shortlist, compare that outline and the dimensions of the decorative top before choosing a finish or requesting a quotation.

The four entries below come from the Pierlume catalogue. We compared their current descriptions with the size diagrams in their galleries. One important difference emerged: the entry named CZ Flower currently shows a curved row of stones in its gallery. It needs a product-identity check before it can be treated as a confirmed flower design.

The measurements below are the labels on the supplier diagrams, not our own measurements. They describe the decorative top; they do not specify the wearable post length, establish component compatibility or determine suitability for a client.

Turn the comparison into a useful studio shortlist

1. Choose an outline for the assortment brief

For a compact fan-shaped accent, start by reviewing Triple Marquise. For a deliberately elongated motif, compare the Curved Cross. For a broader crown-like accent, review Flower Crown. These are visual merchandising suggestions based on the gallery shapes, not claims about popularity, comfort or anatomical fit.

Flower Crown and Triple Marquise both carry a 5.2 mm height label, but their width labels are 12.3 mm and 6.3 mm respectively. Selecting by height alone would hide a substantial difference in the space the top occupies. Keep a front-view image beside each size record when comparing designs.

2. Read the drawing before recording a size

Keep three fields separate: decorative-top dimensions, post gauge and wearable post length. The comparison table covers the first field. The current Triple Marquise and Curved Cross descriptions also state 16G; the two other descriptions do not supply a gauge in the same way. None of the four current descriptions gives a definite wearable post length for the selected colour variant.

For the cross, retain the diagram’s long-axis and across measurements rather than relabelling them as a post length. For every entry, ask how the supplier measures wearable length and which dimensions apply to the exact SKU you will receive.

3. Resolve the fourth listing’s name/photo mismatch

The product currently titled Titanium CZ Flower Labret Stud has gallery photographs and a size diagram showing stones arranged along a curved row. A flower name and a row-shaped photograph are not enough to identify an agreed order. Ask Pierlume to confirm the supplied motif and reference image in writing; keep this entry pending until they match.

4. Check the orderable variant and connection

The current product records use colour options named Gold and Silver. Those option names do not specify solid gold, a coating process, post length or connection details. Check the selected variant and current availability on its product page; do not infer that every photographed finish is in stock.

The descriptions refer to threaded tops, but a shared gauge label does not establish that ends and posts are interchangeable. For a specification checklist, read Labret Connections: Confirm Thread or Push-Pin Before Ordering .

5. Record the purchase line once

Use one line per requested configuration. This keeps the visual choice separate from the technical and commercial information needed to place an order:

  • Product name and product-page link, plus the agreed reference photograph.
  • Requested colour, quantity, gauge, wearable post length and connection; mark unanswered fields as pending.
  • Declared material specification and supporting documents for the exact item. The catalogue’s titanium wording alone does not establish a grade or certification.
  • Written quote covering price basis, currency, sample terms, MOQ, lead time and delivery destination.

Example enquiry: “Please quote the Triple Marquise labret in the requested colour and quantity. Your gallery labels the top 6.3 × 5.2 mm and the description states 16G. Please confirm the wearable post length, exact connection, included components and material documentation for the supplied SKU, together with sample and delivery terms.”

Use confirmed supplier details and your studio’s professional assessment for any suitability decision. This design comparison does not establish medical suitability or support allergy, healing or universal-fit claims.

Questions about comparing these labret listings

Which decorative top has the smallest labelled width?

Triple Marquise has a labelled width of 6.3 mm. Flower Crown is labelled 12.3 mm wide, while the CZ Flower listing’s curved-row diagram shows 9.7 mm. The cross is directional, with a 12.1 mm long axis and a 5.7 mm across measurement. These labels do not identify a suitable size for a particular piercing.

Does a 5.2 mm label mean the post is 5.2 mm long?

No. In the Triple Marquise and Flower Crown diagrams, the 5.2 mm arrow marks the decorative top. Wearable post length is a separate specification that needs to be confirmed for the ordered configuration.

Why is the CZ Flower listing marked for confirmation?

Its current title describes a flower, while its gallery shows a curved row of stones. Confirm the intended design and reference image with Pierlume before ordering that item.

Can the four designs share the same posts?

Compatibility is not established by this comparison. Match the exact connection interface and components, rather than assuming interchangeability from a labret name, flat-back format or gauge label.

Choose a design, then confirm your configuration

Use the product cards above to review current photographs, colour selections and availability. Keep any unresolved specification in your enquiry rather than filling it from a similar-looking item.

For a product-specific question, use the Pierlume contact page and include the product link, desired configuration, quantity and destination country.
